When we craft a clients insurance policy, we have to start with the “foundation”, and that is simply reflective of the carriers financial strength.  We seek out carriers that have earned a rating with A. M. Best.   Now that we have a strong foundation, we can add any additional coverages the client might need, these are called “endorsements”, some endorsements credit the policy, thus reducing premium and other endorsements add coverage as needed, thus insuring the client properly.  You can buy a properly structured policy from a poorly capitalized carrier just like you can buy a poorly structured policy from a financially strong carrier.  Does it not make sense to buy a well structured policy from a highly rated carrier?  Anyway, we think so.
